Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) sets out the terms under which NunoX Technologies Co., Ltd. (“NunoX,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) offers refunds and handles subscription cancellations for NX Suite (“Service”). By subscribing to NX Suite, you agree to the following terms in addition to our Terms of Service.

 

1. Subscription Structure

  • Monthly Subscriptions: Billed on a recurring monthly basis.
  • Annual Subscriptions: One-time upfront payment for 12 months, provided at a discounted rate compared to the monthly plan.

Subscription tiers and pricing are available on our website. Annual plans reflect savings compared to monthly billing.

 

2. Refund Eligibility

We aim to provide a fair and transparent refund process while complying with applicable consumer protection regulations. 

2.1 Global Refund Rule

  • If you choose to start using NX Suite immediately at signup, the Service will be considered active from that moment. Refunds requested within the refund window may be reduced to reflect usage, which may be calculated based on time elapsed and or the number of materials scanned.
  • Customers may request a full refund within 7 days of their initial purchase if dissatisfied with the Service.
  • You can request a refund or cancel your subscription through your subscription plan dashboard.
  • Access to the Service will end once the refund is processed.

2.2 For EU/UK Customers – Cooling-Off Period

  • If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you are entitled to a statutory 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases.
  • If you cancel within 14 days, you will receive a full refund.
  • If you opted to start using NX Suite immediately at signup, then the Service is considered active from that moment. Any refund requested within the applicable window may be reduced to reflect usage, calculated by time elapsed and/or the number of materials scanned. 

2.3 After Refund Window

  • All payments are non-refundable once the refund window has passed.
  • Refunds are not available for subscription renewals, except where required by law.
  • Taxes, payment processor fees, and any third-party charges are not refundable.
 

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued for the following circumstances:

  • Failure to use the Service or lack of activity on your account.
  • Cancellation or downgrades made after the refund window.
  • Promotional, trial, or discounted subscriptions.
  • Add-ons, credits, setup fees, or professional services.
  • Accounts terminated due to a breach of our Terms of Service.

 4. Cancellations & Auto-Renewal

  • All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled in advance.
  • You can request a refund or cancel your subscription through your subscription plan dashboard.
  • Cancellation stops future charges but does not trigger a refund automatically.
  • Your access to NX Suite will continue until the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual).
 

5. Free Trials & Goodwill Refunds

  • NX Suite does not offer a free trial without credit card information. 
  • However, if you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a refund within the 7-day refund period noted above.
  • Beyond this, refunds are issued only as a matter of goodwill at our sole discretion (for example, in cases of duplicate billing or verified technical failures). 

 

6. Regional Consumer Rights

  • This Policy does not limit any rights you may have under local consumer protection laws.
  • EU/UK residents: You have a 14-day statutory cooling-off right as described in Section 2.2.
  • Australia: Under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a refund if the Service fails to meet consumer guarantees (e.g., not fit for purpose, misrepresented, or defective).
  • Canada, Japan, South Korea, and other regions: Local consumer protection laws may grant similar rights in cases of defective or misrepresented services.

 

7. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

You can request a refund or cancel your subscription through your subscription plan dashboard.

Include the following details in your request:

  1. Account email address
  2. Subscription tier (Monthly/Annual)
  3. Date of purchase
  4. Reason for refund request (optional but helpful)

We will review your request and respond within 7 business days.

 

8. Updates to this Policy

NunoX may update or amend this Policy from time to time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Where required by law, we will notify you in advance of significant updates.
